Bollinger really know what they are doing when it comes to Rosé. This is a blend of 62% Pinot Noir and 38% Chardonnay, and is drawn from 23 different crus. The gorgeous pink colour comes from the blending in of 5% Pinot Noir sourced from their celebrated Côte aux Enfants vineyard. It’s a silky, voluminous wine, showing greater amplitude than the 2014 that preceded it, making it quite possibly readier to drink. The finish is extraordinarily long. It will be fascinating to see how this wine evolves over the next few years.

Tasted April 2024. Understated and stony on the nose, with black berry fruit, earth and graphite. Fine tannins, with a bright, fresh, red-fruited finish.
